Sunday night, Theresa and I went to see Sky High (2005), a predictable, but enjoyable movie. It taught me a number of things about life:

  1. All high school girls are hot, and wear professional makeup, all the time.

  2. All high school girls get a professional hair dresser to braid and twist their hair, for free

  3. It sucks to be Kurt Douglas's kid, you get the hair.

  4. Popular kids are actually evil, and want to take over the world.

  5. While Ash is sexy, he isn't as sexy as a Mad Scientist.

  6. Even though techno-paths can control machines with their minds, they still build machines with buttons.

Some days, there just isn't enough caffine. I have been sooo slugish today. Espresso hasn't helped, diet coke hasn't helped. A walk around the complex hasn't helped. I'm trying not to touch anything breakable, wouldn't want to go boom.

I'm at work. I'm not sure why, but I am absolutely exhausted. I've been fighting to stay awake since the alarm went off (even though I got 8hrs last night (quite abnormal for me)). T suggests that it has something to do with the stick of butter that I coated our Cornish Hens with last night before baking them. Oh, recipie:

  1. Melt a stick of butter in the microwave.

  2. Mix in 5-6 tablespoons of lemon pepper (you'll get a nasty looking gooey paste)

  3. paint your chicken with the paste (paint the whole thing)

  4. bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 450f, then turn it down to 350, and bake for another hour.

  5. Eat!
